Global Warming is now a very bid deal. Do you know what Global Warming is? If you don't well I will explain it to you: Global warming refers to the rising average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans and its projected continuation. In the last 100 years, Earth's average surface temperature increased by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F) with about two thirds of the increase occurring over just the last three decades. Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and scientists are more than 90% certain most of it is caused by increasing of greenhouse gases produced by human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels. Many people contribute to this without even noticing for example leaving your car (that uses gas) on for ten minutes so it warms up, using lots of aerosol spray(If you don't know how this creates Global Warming it's because the chemicals in the cans are very powerful and it can penetrate through our atmosphere. In this case this will make the atmosphere thinner and increase the temperature  of the Earth), cars are a big contribution to Global Warming (Vehicles such as cars are a big reason why there is Global Warming, many cars use gas, so lots of pollution come from cars. To be exact cars that run on gas create air pollution which makes Global Warming even faster. Here are couple of ways to be more Eco-friendly, carpooling is a great way to save gas. Take turns with the person you ride on carpooling. You can take the bus because it is a big vehicle but it takes more people to more places. Another way is to ride a bike, walk, Rollerblade, etc. There are more ways but here are a few of them.).

Global Warming has more then one impact other than the increase of Earth's temperature, but the possible extinction of the polar bear this is a very big deal. These poor animals are having a hard time living ever since Global Warming got worse. They are having a harder time trying to live since icebergs are melting. Global Warming makes it harder for the Polar Bear to hunt or travel. It takes more energy for them since it is getting hotter. Polar bears fur is made to swim in cold water and live in cold weather. It keeps the body warmth in and blocks off any cold air from entering the body of the Polar bear. We need to lower the percentage of how much we pollute the Earth so Global Warming doesn't kill the polar bear. I am not saying we can stop all of it but lower it.

This is an article on the BP oil spill, this article explains what BP has done to Earth. The Atlantic ocean has swallowed between 17 and 39 million gallons of oil and this has made the Ocean a killing machine. This amount of Oil is destroying everything in its way. For example fish will breathe in oil and it will suffocate the fish to death.This is a huge a problem and we have almost did nothing about this. I am enraged that Oil is being dumped into the Ocean and nothing huge is happening.We are saving animals that come to the surface or we can see at least. In my second link it shows a Seagull covered in oil. If we can't take majority of the Oil in the Atlantic Ocean out we might be the reason for some animals. We have to stop this.

Oil is now getting more expensive and we are using so much of this substance. However, no one really cares about oil other than the fact that gas prices are increasing. Oil is one the most used liquid substance in the world. As well, Canada is only one of the very few Countries that have oil. In my opinion, because we have so much oil since Ethical Oil (Ethical Oil is dirt that has oil in it and it’s extracted from the boreal forest) came out, I think that gas prices should be lowered but they aren’t. I think this is very stupid that Canada is one of the few countries that make oil and nothing has happened to the gas prices. We citizens don’t get anything other than learning that we found Ethical Oil, yet gas is still expensive.

We also have to worry about the impact of extracting Ethical Oil on the environment. Here is a list of the top 10 countries that pollute the Earth by air pollution, and oil is a major factor in this.                                                                                                                                                                THE TOP 10 MOST POLLUTED PLACES IN THE WORLD:

These countries pollute the Earth so much that they amount to approximately 20%-30%of air pollution. These countries probably have lots of cars, buses, airplanes, trains, etc. (If you are a follower and you know the exact amount of air pollution form these places please comment on this post, Thank you) It’s important that these countries monitor how much they are polluting the Earth because they can make the Ozone layer thinner. This will increase the ocean level which means that they can flood parts of the world.

Since we are polluting the Earth so much, we risk losing the Polar Bear because it is losing its habitat. It is harder for the bear to live now since Global warming got worse and temperatures are increasing. This will make hunting and traveling for the bears harder. Now father polar bears are eating their wives and children because of this. If we continue polluting at such a high rate we will be the reason for the extinction of the Polar Bear.

I'm going to talk about the environment in addition to just oil because I want to put my thoughts in a bigger picture. I want to talk about how we destroy the environment other than by bad oil use.
1. One way we humans destroy the environment is by cutting down trees to make a variety of products. We do need trees and these products; however, I think we are using too much and there is a big Environmental cost.  We need to conserve when possible do reduce damage to the environment.  I think this will help the envrioment more; this isn't a big step it is a bunch of small environmental steps.


2. I hate it when people say we should be more Eco-friendly but they don't acutualy recognize how much it costs to be more Eco-friendly. People will get more Eco-Friendly; however, people will probably take small steps because of the costs involved.


3. I thing one thing governments should do is substitdize, through tax iniatitives, certain environmentally sound practises like installing solar panels on houses. 

4. Now I am going talk about oil use but more of bad oil use. We are destroying the environment by how much gas is being sent up in to the air because of what majority of vehicles use. Mostly airplanes use the most fuel but there are so many cars in the world and so many of them use gas which is made by oil and pollutes the environment now after vehicles were made we have made a huge impact to the earth the hole in the Ozone layer. Our earth's atmosphere is like a air sealed bag it keeps what is in it in and if heat hits the sealed bag it keeps it in and makes it warm. But when you poke a hole into it more heat comes in and it is harder too stop. We can't fix the hole in the Ozone layer but we can reduce making it bigger and making more deadly heat ray from burning or killing us.

5. Another that affects the environment is littering this might not be a thing that many people care about, if we throw an apple on the ground some people will say you are littering other people will say they are composting, which I think is lame excuse to not saying you are littering.
